Makoon is a fantastic guide and we definitely recommend using him. This is our second time visiting Kyoto and our second time asking him to guide us. It was a bit last minute as we decided to add Kyoto on to our trip to Osaka and I am so glad we did. Kyoto is a beautiful city and there are so many little treasures that Makoon knows! He knew where every cherry blossom tree was blooming early and brought us through neighborhood shrines that you just wouldn’t be able to find on your own. The depth of knowledge and the way he is able to connect with his tour is truly rare. It was great to see him and spend some time with him showing us around this beautiful city! He was a highlight for us in 2018 on our first visit and again in 2026! Thank you Makoon!
