I don’t typically book tour guides, but Makoon came heavily recommended by a family member. And I am so glad we ended up booking! Makoon gave us such a special experience in Kyoto. He is so knowledgeable, personable, and passionate. We were able to dodge the crowds and learn so much that we couldn’t have learned on our own. He knows exactly where to go and when. I would recommend him to anyone!
I would also recommend arranging the tour for your first day in Kyoto because he is great at giving recommendations for what to do on the other days.
