Makoon is exceptional in every way. He is smart, funny, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. From our first conversation planning our tour and trip to Kyoto, he was communicative, helpful and full of resources. He helped us with questions we had that were unrelated to our tour, and sent us a detailed itinerary of what he thought would be the best way for us to spend our time on the tour, as well as our time independently in Kyoto and during a day trip that we planned to take to Osaka. Makoon kept in touch as our tour day got closer and was always helpful in answering our questions (we had many, as it was our first time in Japan). Our tour was amazing! Makoon was so knowledgeable and taught us a million things in a fun and approachable way. He knew just how to keep us comfortable in the July heat with stops in air conditioned areas and mixing up walking with sitting and getting a tea and talking.
