We toured with Makoon for two days – one day in Kyoto and one day in Osaka – and they were by far and away the 2 BEST DAYS we had on our entire Japan trip! Not only is Makoon the MOST knowledgable guide we’ve ever had in any of our travels, but he is so well-organized, so thoughtful and generally a delight to be around! We really had a great time! We told Makoon our interests (namely culture, food, and more) and he was able to incorporate them seamlessly into our days while still showing us the most important sites. He is a wealth of knowledge and always goes the extra mile to give additional information, provide additional context, etc. Even more than that though, he is such a nice guy, and is very kind and accommodating – he really wants his clients to love and understand the cities they visit! He gave us great restaurant and activity restaurants, took us to amazing off-the-beaten-path food spots and streets, and answered all of our questions. He is truly amazing and we could not recommend him more. We can’t wait to come back to Japan and tour with Makoon in the future! Thank you for your hard work and passion – best in the biz!
